Experience gifts

Experience gifts your whole team can share

An experience gift is something to do instead of something to keep. For a team or a client list, ship a tasting or class kit to each home and everyone joins one live, hosted session online.

Experience gift ideas that ship to every guest

Each one is a kit workshop: supplies at every guest's door, then about an hour together with a live host. Prices are live.

See every kit, with shipping regions and order-by dates, on team building kits.

How gifting an experience works

Book about 3 weeks ahead for US guests. With anyone in Canada or abroad, book about 5 weeks out. Branded packaging needs about 4 weeks.

  1. Pick the experience and a date. Reserve with your best headcount; a 50% deposit holds the date.

  2. Send the guest list. Addresses are due 2 weeks before for US guests, 4 weeks before for anyone in Canada or abroad.

  3. Kits ship. Each kit is packed and sent to its own door, arriving a few days before the event.

  4. Everyone joins live. A host runs about an hour on Zoom by default, or Teams, Meet or Webex on request.

What an experience gift costs

You see the full price before you book. Pay by card or invoice.

  • A base fee plus a price per guest.

Each card above shows the live price; the activity page shows it for your headcount.

  • Continental US shipping is included.

The kit price covers getting it to every door in the lower 48.

  • Other regions are add-on charges.

Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and US territories, and international addresses add a shipping charge per kit, listed on each activity page.

  • Alcohol needs an adult signature.

Someone 21+ signs for every alcohol delivery, and wine can't ship to every state.

Non-alcoholic kits are available for the wine tasting and several cocktail classes. The wine tasting page lists the states wine can’t ship to.

When a physical gift fits better

An experience is a shared hour. Sometimes a box on the doorstep is the better thank-you.

  • You're thanking one person.

An experience is built for a group; one person gets more from a gift box and a note.

  • The group can't share an hour.

Spread across time zones or shifts, a gift they open whenever works better.

  • It's a quiet thank-you.

Not every moment needs a gathering. A box on the doorstep says it without a calendar invite.

Experience gift questions

What is an experience gift?

A gift of something to do rather than something to keep: a tasting, a class, a show. For a company, the practical version is a kit workshop. A box of supplies ships to each person's home and a live host runs the session online, so a remote team or a client list shares the same hour.

What are good experience gifts for employees?

Ones the whole team can do together without travel: a wine, coffee or cocktail tasting, or a hands-on class like candle making, charcuterie boards or terrariums. Pick one that suits the group, and offer a non-alcoholic kit or an alcohol-free class so nobody sits out.

How does gifting an experience to a remote team work?

Pick an activity and a date and reserve with a 50% deposit. Invite your guests and collect their addresses. Each kit ships to its own door, and on the day everyone joins one video call where a live host leads the session. Zoom is the default; Teams, Meet or Webex on request.

How far ahead should we book an experience gift?

About 3 weeks for US addresses, with addresses due 2 weeks before the event. With guests in Canada or abroad, addresses are due 4 weeks before, so book about 5 weeks out. Branded packaging or other customization needs about 4 weeks.

How much does an experience gift cost?

Each kit workshop has a base fee plus a price per guest, shown live on its page for your headcount. Continental US shipping is included. Canada, Alaska, Hawaii and US territories, and international addresses add a shipping charge per kit.

Can we give an experience gift to clients?

Yes. Invite the client's team as your guests: each person gets a kit at home and you host the hour together. A tasting works well for client thank-yous because it's easy to talk over.

Do alcohol kits need an adult signature?

Yes. Kits that contain alcohol need an adult (21+) signature on delivery, and wine can't ship to every state. Non-alcoholic kits are available for the wine tasting and several cocktail classes.

When is a physical gift a better choice than an experience?

When the group can't share one hour, when you're thanking one person rather than a team, or when the moment is a quiet thank-you rather than a get-together. A chocolate gift box ships to each address with your note inside and needs no calendar.
