Corporate team building, planned and hosted for you

Corporate team building works when someone else runs it: a live host, a format that fits the occasion and a price you know before you book. We run it three ways: hosted virtual games and workshops, kit workshops shipped to every desk or home, and in-person games at your office in 17 US cities.

Corporate team building activities, three ways to run them

Most company team building activities fit one of three shapes: on a video call, a kit at every desk, or a host in the room. Pick the shape first. Every activity below runs about an hour with a live host or instructor, and prices are live from our catalog.

This is a short list. Browse every activity, or see how the formats compare on virtual team building and indoor team building.

Corporate team building events by occasion

The occasion decides the format more than the budget does. Six events most companies run every year, what works for each, and the page that plans it in detail.

  • The quarterly team event

Rotate formats so the same people don't win every time: a game one quarter, a kit workshop the next. Plan all four at once with an annual team building program.
  • The holiday party

A hosted holiday game or a kit at every door, like Cookie Decorating. Book December dates as early as you can. See the virtual holiday party options.
  • The sales kickoff

Competitive formats with a leaderboard suit a sales room: trivia, game shows, a Family Feud-style finale. See sales kickoff activities for an agenda.
  • The offsite or retreat

One shared activity per half-day, with a host at your venue. Agendas are on company offsite ideas and company retreat activities.
  • New hire onboarding

Low-pressure games where new people learn names without giving a speech. See new hire onboarding activities for a first-90-days plan.
  • The client event

A hosted tasting or a game your clients play alongside your team, with your branding if you want it. See client events.

How corporate team building pricing works

There are two ways a team building company can charge you, and they behave very differently as your headcount grows.

A group price. Hosted games and in-person games are sold as a package that covers a set number of people, then grows in steps. Fun-Filled Feud is $975 for 25 people and $1,195 for 50, so the price per head drops as more people join.

A price per person. Kit workshops are a base fee plus a price for each kit, because every person gets a box. Candle Making for 30 people comes to $2,419, with continental US shipping included.

Total price for the whole group, by headcount
Fun-Filled FeudHosted virtual game25 people$97550 people$1,195100 people$1,635
Candle MakingKit workshop25 people$2,07950 people$3,779100 people$7,179

How booking works

Four steps, most of them on our side. You can book an activity page directly or ask a planner to build the plan for you.

Bigger group? See how we run 50 to 1,000 people on team building for large groups. Fully remote? See remote team building.

  1. Pick an activity, or ask for a plan. Every activity page shows a live price and a total for your headcount. Or send us your date, headcount and goal, and you get a plan and a price within 24 hours.

  2. Reserve the date. You see the full price before you book, and a 50% deposit holds the date. Hosted games need about 2 weeks, kits 3 weeks, custom or branded work 4 weeks.

  3. Send invites and confirm numbers. Give your best headcount estimate and finalize it before the event. For kits, each person enters their own shipping address, so nobody builds an address spreadsheet.

  4. Show up and play. The host joins your call or walks into your office and runs the whole thing, so the organizer gets to take part too.

Questions to ask a corporate team building company before you sign

Team building companies differ most on these points. Put them to any you are comparing, us included. Each one comes with our straight answer.

  1. 1. Who runs the event on the day?

A recorded video or a slide deck you click through yourself is not the same product as a host.

Our answer: A professional host leads every game on this page live, and kit workshops have a live instructor. You send the invite; we run the hour.
  2. 2. Is the price per person or per group, and is it all-in?

A low per-person number can hide a base fee, a minimum or a shipping charge.

Our answer: Hosted games are a package price for the group; kits are a price per person plus one base fee. Each virtual activity page shows the total for your headcount, taxes and fees included. Customization and shipping outside the continental US cost extra, and the page says so.
  3. 3. What if our headcount changes?

Corporate attendance moves right up to the day.

Our answer: Book with your best estimate and finalize numbers before the event. A few extra people on the day is fine; if far more join than you booked, we send a follow-up invoice for the difference.
  4. 4. Which video platform do you use, and who sends the link?

IT rules often decide this for you.

Our answer: Zoom by default, with a private link from us. Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex work on request: our host needs to share their screen, and team games need breakout rooms. Music Bingo is Zoom only.
  5. 5. Can kits reach everyone, including people abroad?

A kit workshop fails for the one person whose box didn't arrive.

Our answer: Each person enters their own address and every kit is tracked. Continental US shipping is included; Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada and international addresses add a per-person charge, and each kit's page shows where it ships. Details on global kit shipping.
  6. 6. What happens if we need to move the date?

Quarter-end, reorgs and all-hands collide with events all the time.

Our answer: Each virtual activity page shows its policy before you book. On most, moving your date is free up to 2 days before the event, and a fee applies inside 2 days ($200 on many, more on some). Cancellations are not refunded, so moving the date is the better option.
  7. 7. How will we know it worked?

Leadership will ask, and “everyone seemed to like it” is not an answer.

Our answer: After every event, a short pulse survey goes out automatically to participants with an email, and KraftyLab Intelligence sums up the answers with AI. People answer in the browser with no account.
  8. 8. Have you done this for companies like ours?

Ask for a case study, not a logo wall.

Corporate team building for many teams

When ten teams each book their own events, the problem stops being the activity and becomes approvals, budgets and invoices.

Our enterprise program sets this up once. Compare it with pay-as-you-go on plans, or plan a year of events, or one event with several activities at once, as a multi-event program.

  • A booking portal of your own. Team leads sign in with Google or Microsoft and book from a catalog you approved. See the custom portal.
  • Budgets per team. Each team gets a monthly booking budget, and every booking lands inside the budget you set.
  • Billing that matches procurement. One consolidated monthly invoice for the whole company, or PO invoicing on net 7 to 90 day terms.
  • A dedicated event planner. One person who knows your teams and builds the calendar with you.

Company-wide? We have run a single 60-minute event for 1,000 registered employees across four parallel activity tracks.

Corporate team building questions

What is corporate team building?

Corporate team building is a planned activity that gets coworkers working, playing or making something together outside their normal work. It can be a hosted game on a video call, a workshop with a kit at every desk or a game at the office. Done well, it takes about an hour and asks nothing of people except to show up.

What are the best corporate team building activities?

The ones where everyone takes part at once and a host runs the hour. Family Feud-style games and trivia suit big, competitive groups; escape rooms suit small teams; kit workshops suit groups that want something calm and hands-on; skill workshops suit teams with a real problem to fix.

How much does corporate team building cost?

It depends on the format and your headcount. Fun-Filled Feud starts at $975 for up to 25 people (about $39 each). Candle Making is $68 a person plus a $379 base fee. Feud Night starts at $1,750 for up to 50 people (about $35 each). You see the full price for your group before you book.

How do I choose a corporate team building company?

Ask who runs the event live, whether the price is per person or per group and what it includes, what happens if headcount or the date changes, and how you will know it worked. Then ask for a case study from a company your size. Our answers to each are on this page.

What are good corporate team building event ideas?

Match the format to the occasion: a rotating game or kit workshop for the quarterly team event, a holiday game or kit for the year-end party, competitive trivia for a sales kickoff, one activity per half-day at an offsite, and low-pressure games for new hires.

Can you run team building events at our office?

Yes. Feud Night, Team Trivia, Blitz-Speed Trivia and Music Bingo run at your office or venue in 17 US cities, and Canvas Painting and Watercolor Card Decorating run in those cities and more. The host brings everything and handles setup and cleanup; you provide the room, tables and chairs, and a screen for the games.

How far ahead should we book corporate team building?

About 2 weeks for hosted games and in-person events, 3 weeks for kit workshops, about 5 weeks when kits go to addresses outside the US, and 4 weeks for anything custom or branded. Book December dates as early as you can.

Do you work with large companies and many teams?

Yes. Enterprise customers get a booking portal with a catalog they approve, a monthly budget per team, one consolidated monthly invoice or PO invoicing on net terms, and a dedicated event planner. We have run a single 60-minute event for 1,000 registered employees across four parallel activity tracks.
