12 Best Virtual Team Building Companies (2026 Guide)

Who each company is for, its signature formats, how it prices and fair pros and cons.

Quick picks

Virtual team building companies fall into three groups: hosted-event companies that run every session with their own hosts, marketplaces that list hundreds of events from many providers, and platforms that sell self-paced games or subscriptions. All three can work. The right one depends on how much you want to plan, how you like to pay and where your team meets.

How we checked: KraftyLab is our company, so it’s listed first and we’ve tried to be as fair about it as about everyone else. Every price, format and policy for the other companies comes from their own websites, read on October 5, 2026. Prices change; confirm on their site before you book.

How to choose a virtual team building company

Six questions settle most decisions. Ask every vendor the same ones.

  1. Live host or self-guided? A live host keeps energy up and handles the awkward moments. Self-guided kits are cheaper but someone on your team has to run them.

  2. How is it priced? Per person, per group package, quote only, or subscription. Small teams usually do better with per-person or per-group prices; big groups should ask about volume.

  3. Does it run on your video platform? Most vendors default to Zoom. If you live in Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, check before you book.

  4. Can it handle your group size? Ask how teams are split into breakout rooms and whether extra hosts join for big groups.

  5. Kits and shipping Kit events need addresses weeks ahead. Check what's included and what international shipping costs.

  6. Lead time Two weeks is typical for hosted games and three or more for kits. Custom questions or branding take longer.

Our take

If you want to compare prices and book yourself, the marketplaces (Elevent, Confetti, teambuilding.com) give you the most choice. If you’d rather hand the whole thing to one team that hosts every event, the hosted companies (KraftyLab, Let’s Roam, TeamBonding, Outback, The Go Game) are built for that. For tight budgets or small teams, look at Hooray Teams’ per-group prices; for something weekly and low-key, Water Cooler Trivia.

Whichever you pick, ask the six questions above, get the price in writing, and book two to three weeks out. Want to see what KraftyLab would plan for you? Get a free quote with your date, headcount and video platform, or book a call. You get a full event plan and price within 24 hours, with no obligation.

Questions buyers ask

What is the best virtual team building company?

It depends on what you need. For a live-hosted game show with little planning, KraftyLab or Let's Roam; for the biggest marketplace, Elevent or Confetti; for large groups on a dedicated platform, The Go Game; for the lowest entry price, Hooray Teams. Compare pricing model, platform and group size first.

How much does virtual team building cost?

As of October 2026, published starting prices for hosted games run from about $12 to $35 a person, kit workshops commonly cost $45 to $150 a person with shipping, and some companies quote only. KraftyLab's hosted games work out to about $34 a person, and kit workshops start at $45 a person plus a base fee.

How far ahead should we book a virtual team building event?

Two weeks is a safe minimum for hosted games and three weeks for events that ship kits, longer for international shipping or custom content. At KraftyLab, customization like branded questions needs about four weeks.

Do virtual team building companies work on Microsoft Teams?

Many do, but most default to Zoom. KraftyLab runs on Zoom by default and on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request; Elevent, TeamBonding and Escapely also state support for Teams.

How did you choose and check these companies?

We picked companies that offer bookable virtual team building and checked every fact, price and format on each company's own website on October 5, 2026. Prices change, so confirm the details on their site before you book. KraftyLab is our own company, and we've tried to describe it as fairly as the others.

Can one company handle virtual and in-person events?

Several can. KraftyLab, Confetti, teambuilding.com, Let's Roam, Elevent, TeamBonding, Outback, Wildgoose, The Go Game and Escapely all list in-person events too; Hooray Teams is virtual only.
