What Wildgoose sells, and how KraftyLab differs

Wildgoose started in 2004 in a small office just outside London. It now runs sites for the UK, the US, Canada, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands, and its US arm, Wildgoose Events Inc., is based in Patchogue, New York. Its games run on its own technology: in-person GPS scavenger hunts like The Ultimate, plus virtual and hybrid escape rooms, murder mysteries, team quizzes and The Insiders, a hidden-identity game. A remote host is standard, an onsite host is available, and some games can be self-managed.

KraftyLab is built for the US team lead who wants a good event on the calendar this month. Every activity page shows the live price for your headcount, a live host runs the whole hour on your video call, and for workshops we ship a kit to every guest. Big programs get the same care: a multi-event program can run several activities at once for a whole company.

What a 25-person virtual event costs

Wildgoose prices per participant and adds a host fee to some games. Ours is one price.

Wildgoose's virtual page says its online activities start from $15 per person. Escape rooms, murder mysteries and team quizzes add a $300 Remote Host fee, and shorter games include the host with a $300 minimum spend. Phones, apps and how guests play

Wildgoose's virtual games are played in its Mobile Adventures app. Its FAQ says everyone needs a laptop or computer for the video call, plus a smartphone or tablet for the app, and the host splits the group into competing teams of 4 to 6.

At KraftyLab a live host runs every round on the video call. For trivia, Family Feud-style games and game shows, guests need the video link and a pen and paper, with nothing to download.

Kits, holiday parties and gifts

At KraftyLab the kit is the event: 25+ workshops such as gingerbread house decorating, wreath making and candle making ship a box to each guest, and an instructor walks the group through it live. Continental US shipping is included; Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and international addresses ship for an added charge per guest.
