How a hosted game show plays
All it takes is your video call and a pen and paper. The host handles the rounds, the reveals and the score.
- 1
Teams in breakout rooms
The host welcomes everyone in the main room, then splits the group into small teams that confer in breakout rooms. - 2
Everyone plays every round
No waiting for your turn like on TV. Every team answers every question at the same time, so nobody sits out. - 3
Reveals and a scoreboard
Answers land on screen for the whole room, points go up live, and the host keeps the banter going. - 4
Fresh teams at the midpoint
In most shows the host can reshuffle teams halfway through, so people play with colleagues they rarely meet.

Make it about your company
- A survey round your team answered the week before
- Category trivia about your product, customers or year
- Your logo and colors on the game backgrounds
- A menu of formats picked in advance for your crowd
At least 4 weeks' notice; some requests cost extra. Planning a kickoff? See sales kickoff activities.
A game show in the office
Same buzz, one room. Our hosts bring the game to your office, venue or offsite.
Feud Night is our in-person survey game show, with Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia beside it. All three run live at your office in 17 US cities.
Half the team remote? Play the virtual show with the office on a room screen, ideally with a camera and mic on the room, and test the link first. More in hybrid team building.
Run a quick game show yourself
Six rounds for a team meeting. Pick two or three; one person hosts, one keeps score.
- 1Survey says, office edition. Poll the team a week before (best snack in the kitchen?), then teams guess the top five answers.
- 2Higher or lower. Show a number about the company or the team. Teams call whether the next one is higher or lower.
- 3Whose desk is this? Collect desk or home office photos beforehand. Teams guess the owner for a point each.
- 4Pass or play. Five rapid-fire questions. A team can answer or pass the question to a rival team.
- 5Name it in three words. One player describes a film, a product or a colleague's job in three words. Their team guesses.
- 6The final wager. Before the last question, each team bets any share of its points. Loud finish guaranteed.

Game show team building questions
What is game show team building?
Your team plays TV-style game shows in small teams, led by a live host who runs the rounds, the reveals and the scoreboard. It mixes friendly competition with a reason to talk to colleagues, and works for remote, office and hybrid groups.
How does a virtual game show work?
Everyone joins your video call, the host splits the group into teams in breakout rooms, and every team answers every round at the same time. Answers reveal on screen and points go up live. A hosted show runs about an hour; players need a pen and paper.
Which game show formats can we play?
Family Feud-style surveys, Jeopardy-style categories, Wheel of Fortune-style puzzles, Millionaire-style multiple choice, Hollywood Squares-style true or false, Smarter Than a 5th Grader-style questions, poll games and quiz bowls. Your Favorite Game Shows! lets you pick the menu in advance.
Can the game show include questions about our company?
Yes. Most of our game shows can add new questions and custom backgrounds; some requests cost extra. Send your questions at least 4 weeks before the event.
Can we run a game show in person?
Yes. Feud Night, our in-person survey game show, runs at your office in 17 US cities, alongside Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia. Hybrid groups can play the virtual version with the office on a room screen.
How many people can play a virtual game show?
Small teams and big groups both work. Bigger groups play as more teams, each in its own breakout room, and we may add a tech assistant. For company-wide events we can run several activities in parallel tracks.
How much does a corporate game show cost?
