A marketplace of hosts, or one producer

On Elevent, each event belongs to an independent host. Hosts write their own listings, set their own group sizes and pricing, and talk to you directly through Elevent's portal once you book. Elevent adds the platform around them: a landing page and invitations for your guests, shipment tracking for kits, live chat on the day and reviews afterwards. It says Elevent Assurance is included with every booking, runs US, Canada and UK storefronts and has been used by 15,000+ teams.

The upside is range. You can find a niche format or a specific host you loved last year. The trade-off is that details vary by listing. On the Fun-Filled Feud with a Twist listing we read, for example, the host notes that its satisfaction guarantee applies only to events with that exact wording, and that smaller groups pay the listed minimum attendance.

KraftyLab works the other way round. Our hosts and partner studios deliver the experience, and we own everything around it: the booking, payment, kit fulfillment, shipping, scheduling and event support (see our partner page for that split). You deal with one company and one set of policies, whatever you book.

Starting prices, minimums and fees

Elevent listings show a starting price. In its virtual team games collection on October 5, 2026, The Feud and The Feud - Holiday Edition started at $19 a person, Winter or Holiday Fun & Games at $22, and Murder! on Candy Cane Lane at $549 flat for a group. Hosts set minimums, so read the listing for your headcount. Elevent also charges service fees; its Perks membership costs $100 a year and waives them for 12 months.

Most KraftyLab hosted games are one package for up to 25 people, from about $34 a person at full size, and kit workshops start at $45 a person plus a base fee with continental US shipping included. The estimate on each activity page includes taxes and fees.

  • On headline price, Elevent's lowest per-person listings are cheaper than our game packages.
  • On the total, add the minimum attendance, any service fee and kit shipping before you compare. Ask us for a quote and put the two numbers side by side.
  • For a whole company, our enterprise program bills once a month on net 7 to 90 terms with per-team budgets.

40+ cities, or a host in the room in 17

Elevent's in-person catalog is the bigger one: cooking classes, cocktail making, escape rooms, scavenger hunts, wellness sessions and workshops across 40+ US cities, with its largest catalogs in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin, Washington DC and Boston. Elevent says most of these events are venue-included and many hosts travel to your office.

KraftyLab's hosts work on site in 17 US cities, running Feud Night, Music Bingo, Team Trivia, Blitz-Speed Trivia, canvas painting and watercolor cards for office parties and offsites. See New York, Chicago or every city on our in-person page. If your team is somewhere we do not cover, Elevent is a sensible place to look.

Tools for the organizer

Elevent's planning tools are a real strength: invitation and landing-page templates, a way to collect guests' preferences and addresses, shipment tracking, portal messaging with your host and post-event reviews. On the procurement side it advertises payment terms, wire or ACH, consolidated invoices and a Coupa integration.

KraftyLab collects shipping addresses from participants directly, plans international kit delivery backward from your date (global shipping), and gives enterprise customers a branded booking portal with a catalog you approve, SSO with Google and Microsoft and per-team monthly budgets. Every plan includes analytics, moments and a leaderboard, and KraftyLab Intelligence adds pulse surveys after every event, priced per employee.

Hosted games book two weeks ahead (sooner? ask us), kit events three weeks and custom branding four weeks. Events run on Zoom by default, with Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request; Music Bingo is Zoom only.
