Virtual conference entertainment, hosted live

The best virtual conference entertainment is a 45 to 60 minute hosted session every attendee joins at once: a magic show between keynotes, a game show or trivia as the closing social, or speed networking. It runs on your event link, with live prices for 100 to 500 attendees.

Where entertainment fits in your agenda

Four slots planners fill most often, with the format that suits each one.

  • Opening energizer

    45 to 60 minutes

Before the first keynote, or the morning of day two.

Music Bingo or Poll Points: everyone plays from their own screen, with no teams to set up.

  • Between keynotes

    About 60 minutes

After lunch, when attention is lowest.

A magic show: one flat price, and the audience drives the tricks from their seats.

  • Networking session

    About 45 minutes

In place of a hallway break, or straight after a breakout track.

Speed Networking pairs attendees in private video rooms for three-minute conversations.

  • Closing social

    About 60 minutes

The end of the last day, before people log off.

A game show or trivia in breakout teams, with winners named on the main stage.

Formats that work for a big audience

Each one has a live host (Speed Networking has a support team instead) and is priced for your headcount.

On your event platform or a Zoom link

Keep attendees on the stage they already have open, or send them to a private Zoom link.

  • Zoom is the default: you get a private Zoom link and the host runs the room.
  • On your own link (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex or the platform your conference uses), send it to your event manager after booking.
  • The host needs to share their screen, so give them presenter rights.
  • Someone on your side lets the host in a few minutes early and opens breakout rooms if the platform only lets your team do that.
  • Music Bingo runs on Zoom only.
  • Speed Networking runs on its own networking platform with its own link, not inside your stage.

A hybrid crowd in a ballroom and online

  • Put the host on a big screen the room can see and hear.
  • Give the host a camera and microphone on the room, so they can see and hear it too.
  • Test the setup on the event link before the day.

What it costs for 100, 250 or 500 attendees

Live prices for one session. Team games are priced in blocks of guests; the magic show, Music Bingo and Speed Networking are one flat price, so they get cheaper per head as the crowd grows.

Virtual conference entertainment questions

What is good virtual conference entertainment?

A 45 to 60 minute hosted session that every attendee can join at once: a magic show between keynotes, a game show or trivia as a closing social, Music Bingo as an opening energizer, or speed networking instead of an empty lobby. Pick by the slot in your agenda and the size of the crowd.

Which formats work for 500 attendees or more?

Formats where nobody waits for a turn: a magic show the whole audience watches, bingo where everyone plays their own card, and team games where every breakout team answers every round. For around 1,000 people, run several activities at once and let attendees choose (see multi-event programs).

Can the session run inside our virtual event platform?

Usually, yes. Hosted sessions run on Zoom by default and on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Webex or your preferred platform on request: send the link to your event manager after booking. The host needs to share their screen, and someone on your side lets them in a few minutes early. Music Bingo is Zoom only, and Speed Networking uses its own platform.

How long is a conference entertainment session?

The shows and games on this page run about 60 minutes. Music Bingo and Speed Networking run about 45. If your agenda only has a 30 minute slot, say so in your quote request and we will tell you which formats can fit it.

How much does virtual conference entertainment cost for 250 people?

Quiz Showdown! is $2,955 for 250 guests at today's price. The magic shows are one flat price for the session ($3,200 flat today), whatever the audience size. Every format on this page shows its live price for your headcount on its own page, and the table above prices 100, 250 and 500 attendees.

Can we add a sponsor round or our conference theme?

Yes. The hosted games can be customized with new questions about your theme, sponsor or outcomes, and custom backgrounds. Allow about 4 weeks, and some requests cost extra: you see the updated quote before you confirm.

How far ahead should we book?

Standard shows and games need about 2 weeks. A custom round needs about 4. Reserve online with a 50% deposit and pay by card or invoice, or ask for a free quote and get a full plan within 24 hours.
