A sample two-hour party in Houston

A Thursday, 3:00 to 5:00 pm, 100 guests. A big afternoon party for a whole floor: two games that scale to a room of 100, finished at 5 while the Park & Ride buses home are still running often.

  1. Before 3:00

    Check every sightline

The host sets up sound, scoring and bingo cards. With 100 people, arrange tables so everyone can see the TV or projector before the room fills.

  2. 3:00 pm

    Feud Night

Tables become teams and answer the host's survey questions at once by QR code. Mix departments at each table, so people who only know each other from email have to agree on one answer.

  3. 4:00 pm

    Thank-you and a reset

Leadership gets five minutes at the front while the host switches the screen to bingo.

  4. 4:05 pm

    Music Bingo

Pick an era from the 70s to today. Every player has a card, so the game works the same for 100 people as for 20, and no music knowledge is needed.

  5. 5:05 pm

    Last BINGO, then the bus

Park & Ride riders walk to their stop, and drivers head for the Katy Freeway or 59 with the party behind them.

At 100 guests: Feud Night $2,200 + Music Bingo $2,200 = $4,400 at list prices.

Planning a December party in Houston

Whether your team sits Downtown, in the Galleria area, the Energy Corridor or the Medical Center, these are the Houston details that shape a December party.

  1. Park & Ride sets the clock

Many Houston commuters ride METRO Park & Ride buses from suburban lots into Downtown, Uptown and the Medical Center. Those buses run most often around the evening peak, so a party that ends by 5 keeps riders on their usual bus.

  2. Plan for rain, not snow

December in Houston is mild, but cold fronts can bring heavy rain that floods streets and underpasses quickly. A party at your own office means nobody drives an unfamiliar route in a storm, and a hard freeze is rare enough to treat as a backup-date question.

  3. Downtown tunnels close early

Downtown's pedestrian tunnels let guests walk between buildings out of the weather, but most sections only open on weekdays and close around 6 pm. If people are coming from another Downtown building, an afternoon party lets them use the tunnels both ways.

  4. Galleria traffic in December

Holiday shoppers pack Westheimer and Post Oak around the Galleria all month. Teams in Uptown should end before the late-afternoon crush or well after it, and visitors from other offices should leave extra time.

Houston holiday party questions

How much does office holiday party entertainment cost in Houston?

Feud Night, Music Bingo, Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia are $1,750 for up to 50 guests, plus $450 for each additional 50. Canvas Painting is $55 a person plus a $750 base fee. Watercolor Card Decorating is $52 a person plus a $750 base fee. That covers the host, the game and, for the painting formats, every supply. Food, drinks and the room are yours to arrange.

How far ahead should we book a December holiday party in Houston?

Book hosted games at least 2 weeks ahead and painting workshops at least 3 weeks ahead; branding or custom questions need 4 weeks. For Thursday, Dec 17, that means booking games by Dec 3 and painting by Nov 26. If your date is sooner than that, ask us; we confirm what we can run in your plan.

Do you come to offices in the Energy Corridor, Sugar Land or The Woodlands?

Our hosts travel to offices and venues in the Houston area. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city when we send your plan.

Our Medical Center team works shifts. Can we still have one party?

Yes. Pick a two-hour window that overlaps the end of one shift and the start of the next, so both groups get some of it. Music Bingo is the most forgiving format for people who arrive late or leave early, so run it at the edge of the shift change.

What do we need to provide for a party at our office?

A room with tables and chairs, a TV or projector with an HDMI cable for the games, and phones to scan a QR code. The painting formats also need water access and trash cans. We bring the host, the game, the scoring and, for painting, every supply, and we handle setup and cleanup.

What if more people show up than we planned for?

Give us your best headcount estimate; we use it to plan hosts and support. We can take extra guests on the day, and if attendance is well over your estimate we invoice the difference.

Can remote employees join the party?

The in-person formats are built for people in the room. For remote staff, book a virtual holiday party on Zoom (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request) on another day, or run one for the whole company.

Can we add holiday gifts for the team?

Yes. Pair the party with corporate holiday gifts shipped to each person, which also covers anyone who can't make it to the office that day.
