A sample two-hour party in Dallas

A Tuesday, 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, 50 guests. A midday party for a team spread across Dallas-Fort Worth: people drive in after the morning rush, and the canvases dry at desks all afternoon.

  1. Before 11:30

    Screen up, easels waiting

The host connects to your TV or projector and lines up easels, canvas boards and aprons along the wall. You provide water access and a few trash cans.

  2. 11:30 am

    Team Trivia

Lunch goes on the tables as the first round starts. Teams talk it through over picture rounds, bonus rounds and a wager finale that can flip the standings.

  3. 12:30 pm

    Plates out, easels in

Five minutes to clear lunch and move an easel and canvas to every seat.

  4. 12:35 pm

    Canvas Painting

The host guides everyone through an acrylic painting on a 12 x 16 inch canvas board. It's a calm second hour after a loud trivia finish, and nobody needs to have painted before.

  5. 1:35 pm

    Canvases dry, people drive

Paintings go to a drying spot until the end of the day. Anyone headed back to Fort Worth or Frisco is on the road long before the evening rush.

At 50 guests: Team Trivia $1,750 + Canvas Painting $3,500 = $5,250 at list prices.

Planning a December party in Dallas

Whether your team sits Downtown, in Uptown, Las Colinas, Legacy or Fort Worth, these are the Dallas details that shape a December party.

  1. Two downtowns, one party

Dallas and Fort Worth each have a downtown, and the drive between them on I‑30 is a long one at rush hour. If you have staff in both, host at one office in the middle of the day, or point riders to the Trinity Railway Express, which connects the two downtowns.

  2. Tollways and LBJ decide the end time

Teams in Uptown, Las Colinas, Legacy and Frisco mostly drive the Dallas North Tollway, LBJ, US‑75 or I‑35E, and the evening rush starts early. A lunch party keeps everyone off those roads at the worst hours.

  3. Ice hits the overpasses first

December in North Texas is usually mild, but an occasional ice storm can glaze the region's overpasses and tall interchanges quickly. The call usually has to be made the night before, so agree who makes it and hold a backup date.

  4. DART reaches some offices, not all

DART light rail serves Downtown, the Uptown edge, Las Colinas and Plano, but most people at Legacy and in Frisco drive. Plan parking for guests coming from another office before you send the invite.

Dallas holiday party questions

How much does office holiday party entertainment cost in Dallas?

Feud Night, Music Bingo, Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia are $1,750 for up to 50 guests, plus $450 for each additional 50. Canvas Painting is $55 a person plus a $750 base fee. Watercolor Card Decorating is $52 a person plus a $750 base fee. That covers the host, the game and, for the painting formats, every supply. Food, drinks and the room are yours to arrange.

How far ahead should we book a December holiday party in Dallas?

Book hosted games at least 2 weeks ahead and painting workshops at least 3 weeks ahead; branding or custom questions need 4 weeks. For Thursday, Dec 17, that means booking games by Dec 3 and painting by Nov 26. If your date is sooner than that, ask us; we confirm what we can run in your plan.

Do you come to offices in Fort Worth, Plano, Frisco or Las Colinas?

Our hosts travel to offices and venues across Dallas-Fort Worth. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city when we send your plan.

Our Dallas party is at lunch. Will the canvases be dry before people go home?

Yes. In this plan the painting ends around 1:30, so the canvases get the rest of the afternoon to dry. Set aside a table or a stretch of wall where they can sit, and each 12 x 16 inch board lies flat on a back seat for the drive home to Frisco or Fort Worth.

What do we need to provide for a party at our office?

A room with tables and chairs, a TV or projector with an HDMI cable for the games, and phones to scan a QR code. The painting formats also need water access and trash cans. We bring the host, the game, the scoring and, for painting, every supply, and we handle setup and cleanup.

What if more people show up than we planned for?

Give us your best headcount estimate; we use it to plan hosts and support. We can take extra guests on the day, and if attendance is well over your estimate we invoice the difference.

Can remote employees join the party?

The in-person formats are built for people in the room. For remote staff, book a virtual holiday party on Zoom (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request) on another day, or run one for the whole company.

Can we add holiday gifts for the team?

Yes. Pair the party with corporate holiday gifts shipped to each person, which also covers anyone who can't make it to the office that day.
