A sample two-hour party in Charlotte

A Tuesday, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, 60 guests. An end-of-day party with two team games: people finish their work first, Blue Line riders still have trains after, and drivers bound for I‑77 leave once the worst of the backup has eased.

  1. Before 4:30

Set up before the badge rush

The host checks in at your security desk early, connects to your TV or projector with HDMI and tests the QR code scoring while people finish their last meetings.

  2. 4:30 pm

    Team Trivia

Let people sit with their own department for the first game, so the trash talk has a home team. Captains submit by QR code, and a wager finale at the end can still overturn a big lead.

  3. 5:30 pm

    New teams for round two

Tables count off and regroup, so trivia rivals end up on the same side for the next game.

  4. 5:35 pm

    Feud Night

Survey questions go up on the screen, and each new team debates before its captain locks in an answer by QR code. Accounting and sales now have to agree on one answer, which is where people get to know each other.

  5. 6:35 pm

    Winners, then the Blue Line

Light rail riders walk to the station, and drivers heading south to Fort Mill or north to Lake Norman find a lighter I‑77.

At 60 guests: Team Trivia $2,200 + Feud Night $2,200 = $4,400 at list prices.

Planning a December party in Charlotte

Whether your team sits in an Uptown tower, in South End, SouthPark or out in Ballantyne or University City, these are the Charlotte details that shape a December party.

  1. I‑77 runs both ways

Plenty of Charlotte staff commute on I‑77, from Lake Norman to the north or across the state line from Fort Mill and Rock Hill, and it slows in both directions at rush hour. Ask where your people drive from before you set the end time.

  2. Blue Line riders have room

The LYNX Blue Line runs from University City through Uptown and South End to I‑485 at South Boulevard, and trains keep coming into the evening. If most of your team rides it, an after-work party is no problem for them.

  3. Uptown game nights and SouthPark shoppers

Uptown's stadium and arena draw big crowds on some weeknights, and holiday shoppers fill the roads around SouthPark all December. Check the Uptown events calendar before you lock a date, and leave extra time near SouthPark.

  4. Suburban campuses have the space

Teams in Ballantyne or University Research Park often sit in office parks with a cafeteria or large training room. Ask your facilities team which rooms allow food and a projector, and hold the whole party there.

Charlotte holiday party questions

How much does office holiday party entertainment cost in Charlotte?

Feud Night, Music Bingo, Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia are $1,750 for up to 50 guests, plus $450 for each additional 50. Canvas Painting is $55 a person plus a $750 base fee. Watercolor Card Decorating is $52 a person plus a $750 base fee. That covers the host, the game and, for the painting formats, every supply. Food, drinks and the room are yours to arrange.

How far ahead should we book a December holiday party in Charlotte?

Book hosted games at least 2 weeks ahead and painting workshops at least 3 weeks ahead; branding or custom questions need 4 weeks. For Thursday, Dec 17, that means booking games by Dec 3 and painting by Nov 26. If your date is sooner than that, ask us; we confirm what we can run in your plan.

Do you come to offices in Ballantyne, Lake Norman or Fort Mill?

Our hosts travel to offices and venues in the Charlotte area. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city, including across the state line in South Carolina, when we send your plan.

Does an after-work party work for staff who drive home to South Carolina or Lake Norman?

It can, if you set the end time around them. I‑77 is slowest in the late-afternoon rush in both directions, so a party that runs until about 6:30 lets those drivers leave after the worst of it, while Blue Line riders still have trains. If most of your team lives far up or down I‑77, a lunch party is the other good option.

What do we need to provide for a party at our office?

A room with tables and chairs, a TV or projector with an HDMI cable for the games, and phones to scan a QR code. The painting formats also need water access and trash cans. We bring the host, the game, the scoring and, for painting, every supply, and we handle setup and cleanup.

What if more people show up than we planned for?

Give us your best headcount estimate; we use it to plan hosts and support. We can take extra guests on the day, and if attendance is well over your estimate we invoice the difference.

Can remote employees join the party?

The in-person formats are built for people in the room. For remote staff, book a virtual holiday party on Zoom (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request) on another day, or run one for the whole company.

Can we add holiday gifts for the team?

Yes. Pair the party with corporate holiday gifts shipped to each person, which also covers anyone who can't make it to the office that day.
