These 40 Thanksgiving Family Feud questions run in six rounds: face-off warmups, food, traditions, football and the parade, travel and leftovers, and Thanksgiving at work. Every question has five or six ranked answers with points, and 5 Fast Money prompts close the game. Play them on the board above, or print the host sheet for the dinner table.
About the points: The points are our editors' estimate of how a typical group would answer, not results from a real survey. Want your group's real answers? Run a quick survey the week before.

How to play Thanksgiving Family Feud
One host, two teams of three to eight, and the board on a TV or shared screen. Five rounds and Fast Money take 20 to 30 minutes.
- Face-off. One player from each team, first hand up answers. The higher answer on the board wins control of the round.
- Three strikes. The team in control guesses one player at a time. Right answers add their points to the round; each miss is a strike.
- Steal. After the third strike, the other team huddles and gives one answer. On the board, they take the round; off it, the team in control keeps it.
- Double the last rounds. Single points for rounds 1 to 3, double for round 4, triple for round 5. The board's chips do the math.
- Fast Money. Two players from the winning team answer the same five prompts, 20 seconds for the first and 25 for the second, and need 200 points between them.
The coworker version
The board opens on the coworker mix: 37 questions without the three family-table prompts, so it fits a team meeting before the break. Nothing on this page asks about politics, religion or family arguments, at work or at home.
On Zoom or Teams
Share the board from the host's screen, buzz in with a raised hand or the first chat message, and send each team to a breakout room for the steal. Keep the host sheet off screen.
Run your own Thanksgiving survey
Our points are an educated guess. Your group's real answers get bigger laughs, because people recognize each other in them.
- Pick 8 to 10 questions from this page. Two warmups, then a mix of food, traditions and work.
- Send them as a short-answer form a week before. Google Forms or Microsoft Forms both work and can stay anonymous. A Slack thread is faster if your team doesn't mind answering in public.
- Group matching answers and count them. Pumpkin, pumpkin pie and a slice of pumpkin are one answer.
- Turn counts into points. An answer's share of responses is its points: 9 of 30 people is 30. Keep the top five or six and write them on the host sheet.
Printable host answer sheet
