200 who's most likely to questions, all safe for work

Read a card, count to three, and everyone points.

Who's most likely tobring snacks for the whole team?

Most lists of who’s most likely to questions were written for a party, and plenty of the cards would be awkward to read out in a meeting. These 200 were written for work. Each one names a flattering or harmless trait, so the person the room points at has been paid a compliment. The same questions work for friends and family, and for the two-person version some people call who’s more likely to.

How to play who's most likely to

No supplies, no prep. In a room it takes five steps.

  1. Sit so everyone can see everyone. A circle or one table. Four to twelve people is the sweet spot; split bigger groups into tables.
  2. One person reads a question. Use the deck above, or pick a number from the lists below.
  3. Count to three and point. On three, everyone points at the person who fits best. You can point at yourself.
  4. The most fingers wins the card. Ties share it. The winner can tell the story behind it or just take a bow.
  5. The winner reads the next one. Play 10 to 15 questions. That takes about 10 minutes and ends while it's still fun.

On Zoom, Teams or Slack

  • Chat waterfall: everyone types a name but waits. On the host's count of three, all press enter together, so nobody copies the first answer.
  • Poll: for a team of ten or fewer, put the names in a poll and share the results after each question.
  • Cameras on: hold up a sheet of paper with a name on it. Slower, but the reveal is funnier.
  • In Slack or Teams chat: post one question a day and let people reply with a name in the thread. Announce the winner the next morning.
  • Big call: send groups of five or six to breakout rooms with ten questions each, then share one winner per room.

Anonymously

  • Send a short form the day before with five to ten questions and a name field for each answer.
  • Only the organizer sees the votes. Read out the winner of each question, never the count or who voted for whom.
  • Use this version with a new team, a quiet team or any group where pointing at a colleague would feel awkward.

6 rules that keep it kind, and 3 ways to score

The game is a vote about people, so it needs guard rails. Read these out before the first card.

  • Flattering or harmless traits only. If winning the vote wouldn't feel like a compliment, skip the card.
  • Never vote on a flaw. Nothing about being late, messy, forgetful or loud, and nothing about looks, age, money, dating or drinking.
  • Anyone can pass, on a question or on a vote, and nobody asks why.
  • The reader can skip any card without giving a reason.
  • Spread the wins. After three cards, a winner hands the next one to the runner-up.
  • The winner gets the last word. They can agree, deny it or tell the story, and then you move on.

Three ways to keep score

  1. 1. Collect the cards

Whoever wins a question keeps it. At the end, read each person's pile back to them as a list of titles. It works as a round of compliments, so nobody needs a total.

  2. 2. Match the room

You score a point each time you pointed at the person who won. The best reader of the room wins. This moves attention from who is picked to who guessed well.

  3. 3. Call your own

Before the count, anyone who thinks they'll win the question raises a hand. A correct call earns two points, a wrong one earns a laugh.

Want the winners to keep their titles? Print them as certificates. Our office superlatives guide has 80 award names and a fair way to run the vote.

Who's most likely to FAQ

What are good who's most likely to questions?

Good ones name a trait people are happy to win: Who's most likely to bring snacks for the whole team? Who's most likely to know every keyboard shortcut? Who's most likely to win a board game night? This page has 200, sorted into work, remote teams, new teams, leaders, funny, holiday party, and friends and family.

How do you play who's most likely to?

One person reads a question that starts with “Who's most likely to”. On the count of three, everyone points at the person in the group who fits best. The person with the most fingers wins the card and reads the next question. Ten to fifteen questions is a full game.

What are most likely to questions for work?

The work edition sticks to office habits that double as compliments: Who's most likely to keep a meeting on time, fix the printer without calling anyone or welcome the new hire first? Leave out anything about lateness, mess, looks, age, money or life outside work.

Is who's more likely to the same game?

Yes. “Who's more likely to” is the two-person version: the reader names two people, or a pair plays about each other, and the group picks one of the two. Every question on this page works for it. Just swap “most” for “more”.

How do you play most likely to on Zoom?

Use a chat waterfall. The host reads the question, everyone types a name and waits, and on the count of three all press enter at once. A poll with the team's names works for groups of ten or fewer, and big calls can play in breakout rooms.

Can you play most likely to anonymously?

Yes. Send a short form the day before with five to ten questions and collect one name per question. The organizer reads out only the winners, never the vote counts. It suits new or quiet teams.

Can we turn the winners into awards?

Yes, and it makes a good end-of-year ceremony. Print each winning question as a certificate title and hand them out. Our office superlatives guide has 80 award names and a way to run the vote.

Can KraftyLab host a game for our team?

Yes. Our hosts run game shows and Family Feud-style games for about an hour on Zoom by default (Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request), or in person at your office in 17 US cities. Book about 2 weeks ahead, or get a free quote with your date and headcount.
