What happens in a hosted music game

Nothing ships and nobody needs to sing. This is how a session runs, whichever game you pick.

  • A live host joins your call, plays the music and keeps score.
  • Short clips play through the host's shared screen and audio.
  • Players name the song, the artist or the decade, or mark it on a bingo card.
  • Answers go in on a phone by QR code or in a web browser, so nobody talks over the music.
  • Scores come up between rounds, and the host names the winners at the end.

What are good music games for work?

A music quiz, a guess-the-song bingo game and a seasonal music bingo party all work on a video call. Pick the quiz for a competitive team, and bingo when you want everyone to have a shot at winning.

How does virtual music trivia work?

In Mystery Mixtape a live host plays clips in themed rounds, and players answer on their phones after scanning a QR code. The scores are tallied for you, and the results show as soon as the last round ends.

Is there a guess-the-song game for teams?

Yes. In Musical Bingo & Name That Hit each clip plays while a faded photo of the artist comes into focus, so players can guess before the reveal and then mark the song on their bingo card.

How much do music games for work cost?

Which video platforms work?

Zoom by default; Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request. Music Bingo is Zoom only, for the best sound. The host needs to share their screen.

How far ahead should we book?

At least 14 days ahead. For a holiday party on Thu, Dec 17, 2026, book by Thu, Dec 3, 2026, as December dates fill first.

Can an office or hybrid team play?

Yes. Put the call on a room screen with good speakers, and let office players answer on their own phones. Hosts also bring Music Bingo to offices in 17 US cities.

Can a whole company play at once?

Music Bingo has one price for the group, and Meta opened a 450+ person event with it. To run several activities for a large company at once, see multi-event programs.
