A Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 pm, 40 guests. A Friday wrap-up before the weekend: the canvases get the whole weekend to dry at the office instead of riding FrontRunner wet in the snow, and Utah County commuters head south before the heaviest Friday traffic.

The host sets easels, canvas boards, aprons and paints at every seat, with watercolor paper stacked for the second hour. You provide water access and trash cans.

A guided acrylic painting on a 12 x 16 inch canvas board. Follow the host stroke by stroke or take it your own way, and no experience is needed.

Paintings go to a drying table or shelf where they can sit untouched until Monday, and the seats switch to watercolor paper.

Whether your team sits Downtown, in Sugar House, in Draper or down in Lehi, these are the Salt Lake details that shape a December party.
In December and January, cold air can sit trapped in the valley for days, holding haze and poor air near the ground. Nobody needs to go outside for an office party, and on bad air days many people leave the car and take TRAX or FrontRunner instead.
A storm can drop snow fast, and roads up on the east and south benches clear later than the valley floor. Hold a second date a week later when you book, so a storm moves the party instead of cancelling it. With ski resorts a short drive up the canyons, get the date on calendars early, before a fresh-snow Friday tempts people away.
TRAX light rail serves Downtown, the University and the south valley, and FrontRunner runs north to Ogden and south through Draper and Lehi to Provo. FrontRunner trains come less often than TRAX, so check its afternoon departures before you set an end time.
Many teams split between a Salt Lake office and one in Lehi or Draper, and I‑15 around the Point of the Mountain backs up most afternoons, often worst on Fridays. Host where most people sit, and have the others travel up or down at midday.

Book painting workshops at least 3 weeks ahead; custom branding needs 4 weeks. For Thursday, Dec 17, that means booking by Nov 26. If your date is sooner than that, ask us; we confirm what we can run in your plan.
Our hosts travel to offices and venues in the Salt Lake City area. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city, like Lehi, Draper, Sandy or Ogden, when we send your plan.
Mostly they change how people get there. On inversion days many people leave the car at home, so end while TRAX and FrontRunner still run often; this plan finishes at 4. Snow slows I‑15 and the bench roads more than the valley floor, so if a storm is due, decide the evening before whether to move to your second date.
