A sample two-hour party in Phoenix

A Friday, 2:30 to 4:30 pm, 45 guests. A Friday-afternoon party: trivia and cards indoors, done by 4:30, with time to step out on the patio before the sun goes down around 5:20.

  1. Before 2:30

    Screen up, paper out

The host connects to your TV or projector and sets watercolor paper, paints and brushes at every seat. You provide water access and a few trash cans.

  2. 2:30 pm

    Team Trivia

Tables talk it through over the standard rounds, with picture and bonus rounds in between. The wager finale can flip the standings, so nobody checks out early on a Friday.

  3. 3:30 pm

    Answers in, brushes up

Five minutes for a refill while the same tables turn into painting stations.

  4. 3:35 pm

    Watercolor Card Decorating

Four cards each, with the host showing washes and details step by step. In the dry desert air each wash dries fast, so nobody waits long between layers.

  5. 4:35 pm

    Sign a card, step outside

Everyone signs one card for a teammate, then the party moves to the patio for the last of the daylight.

At 45 guests: Team Trivia $1,750 + Watercolor Card Decorating $3,090 = $4,840 at list prices.

Planning a December party in Phoenix

Whether your team sits Downtown, on the Camelback Corridor, in Scottsdale, Tempe or Chandler, these are the Phoenix details that shape a December party.

  1. The patio tempts, the office wins

December afternoons in Phoenix are often mild and sunny, so it's natural to want the party outside. But bright sun makes a TV screen hard to read, and once the sun sets around 5:20 the desert air cools off fast. Run the games and cards indoors and use the patio for the hour after.

  2. The Valley is wide

One team can live in Peoria, Gilbert and North Scottsdale and still share an office, and crossing the Valley can take most of an hour. Host at the office where most people sit, or the most central one, and send directions with the invite.

  3. Freeways set the end time

Most people drive I‑10, I‑17, SR 51, Loop 101 or Loop 202, and Friday traffic builds through the afternoon. Valley Metro Rail links Downtown Phoenix, Tempe and Mesa, but Scottsdale and Chandler offices are reached by car or bus, so plan parking for guests from other offices.

  4. Winter visitors fill the Valley

Winter is high season in the Valley. Seasonal residents and visitors add traffic and fill restaurants and event spaces in Old Town Scottsdale and around the Valley in December, which makes an off-site party harder to book and harder to reach. A party at the office sidesteps both.

Phoenix holiday party questions

How much does office holiday party entertainment cost in Phoenix?

Feud Night, Music Bingo, Team Trivia and Blitz-Speed Trivia are $1,750 for up to 50 guests, plus $450 for each additional 50. Canvas Painting is $55 a person plus a $750 base fee. Watercolor Card Decorating is $52 a person plus a $750 base fee. That covers the host, the game and, for the painting formats, every supply. Food, drinks and the room are yours to arrange.

How far ahead should we book a December holiday party in Phoenix?

Book hosted games at least 2 weeks ahead and painting workshops at least 3 weeks ahead; branding or custom questions need 4 weeks. For Thursday, Dec 17, that means booking games by Dec 3 and painting by Nov 26. If your date is sooner than that, ask us; we confirm what we can run in your plan.

Do you come to offices in Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler or the West Valley?

Our hosts travel to offices and venues across the Phoenix area. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city, like Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa or Glendale, when we send your plan.

Can we do part of our Phoenix party on the patio?

Yes, for the part that suits it. The games need a screen everyone can read, which bright afternoon sun makes hard, so they work best indoors. Watercolor cards need tables, water access and still air. A simple plan is to keep both formats inside and move out for snacks and conversation after, before the sun sets around 5:20 and the air cools.

What do we need to provide for a party at our office?

A room with tables and chairs, a TV or projector with an HDMI cable for the games, and phones to scan a QR code. The painting formats also need water access and trash cans. We bring the host, the game, the scoring and, for painting, every supply, and we handle setup and cleanup.

What if more people show up than we planned for?

Give us your best headcount estimate; we use it to plan hosts and support. We can take extra guests on the day, and if attendance is well over your estimate we invoice the difference.

Can remote employees join the party?

The in-person formats are built for people in the room. For remote staff, book a virtual holiday party on Zoom (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request) on another day, or run one for the whole company.

Can we add holiday gifts for the team?

Yes. Pair the party with corporate holiday gifts shipped to each person, which also covers anyone who can't make it to the office that day.
