A Wednesday, 1:00 to 3:00 pm, 50 guests. An early-afternoon party for the coldest, darkest month: guests from nearby buildings come over by skyway, the canvases get a warm hour to dry indoors, and everyone leaves well before a sunset around 4:30.

The host brings supplies in through the entrance your building names, then sets out easels, canvas boards and aprons, with watercolor paper for the second hour. You provide water access and trash cans.

Paintings move to a drying table well inside the room, away from cold drafts, and the seats switch to watercolor paper.

Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul link many buildings by skyway, so guests from a nearby office can walk over without a coat. Skyways don't follow the street grid and each building sets its own skyway hours, so send visitors the building, floor and route.
Acrylic paint needs warmth to dry and cure, and a wet canvas left in a freezing car overnight can be damaged. Let canvases dry in the office for the afternoon and take them inside the same evening, or leave them overnight and collect them the next morning.
The Blue Line and Green Line run through Downtown, and suburban staff drive I‑35W, I‑94, I‑394 or I‑494. When Minneapolis declares a snow emergency, street parking rules change for up to three days, so tell drivers to use a garage on party day.

Yes. The painting all happens inside your office, and we bring the supplies in. The one thing the cold changes is the trip home: a wet canvas shouldn't sit in a freezing car, so let it dry in the office or leave it overnight and collect it the next morning.
