A Thursday, 4:30 to 6:30 pm, 40 guests. An early-evening party that starts with holiday cards for your clients while it's still light, moves to canvases after a sunset around 5:30, and ends with Metromover and Metrorail still running for hours.
Before 4:30
The host sets out watercolor paper, pens and paints, with easels, canvas boards and aprons lined up for the second hour. You provide water access and a few trash cans.
4:30 pm
A set of four cards with the host guiding the techniques. Bring a short client list: once the paint dries, people write a holiday note in one or two and drop them in a box to mail.
5:30 pm
Five minutes to collect the cards for clients and set an easel and a canvas board at every seat. The sun is setting about now.
5:35 pm
A guided acrylic painting on a 12 x 16 inch canvas board. No experience needed, and with the city lights on outside, the room feels like a party.

Paintings dry overnight on a table in the office and people collect them Friday morning, so nobody carries wet paint onto a packed Metromover car.

Whether your team sits in Brickell, Downtown, Coral Gables or out west in Doral, these are the Miami details that shape a December party.
Staff who drive in from Doral, Kendall or Broward use the Palmetto, the Dolphin Expressway or I‑95, and all three are slow through the late afternoon. A party from 4:30 to 6:30 lets those drivers sit out much of the rush at an easel instead of in traffic.
December opens Miami's busy visitor season, with art fairs early in the month and holiday travelers after, and the causeways, Miami Beach, Wynwood and the Design District get slower with them. If your office is near any of them, keep the party in your own building and give drivers extra time.
Metromover is free and loops through Downtown, Brickell and Omni, and it meets Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell. Staff who ride Brightline or Tri-Rail home to Broward or Palm Beach keep to fixed departures, so check their train before you set an end time.
Brickell and Downtown towers usually give vendors a dock time and a service elevator, and few have much free guest parking. Ask your building what it needs from us, such as a certificate of insurance, and tell guests driving in from Doral or the Gables which garage to use.

Our hosts travel to offices and venues in the Miami area. Send the address with your date and we confirm coverage for addresses outside the city, like Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Beach or Fort Lauderdale, when we send your plan.
Yes. Watercolor Card Decorating gives each person a set of four cards, and the kit includes pens, so once the paint dries people can write a note inside one or two. Bring envelopes and a client list, and collect the cards in a box at the end of the hour to mail the next day.
