Pages we read: Home, Remote Adventures, Online escape rooms, Locations, FAQ, Groups, Nashville team building.
The Escape Game opened in 2014 and builds its rooms in-house at a 60,000 square foot studio it calls the Adventure Factory. It lists 50+ US locations and 24 escape themes, from Nashville and Orlando to New York, Chicago and Las Vegas. Each game runs an hour, prices are per person and vary by location, and its group events team books parties and team outings at its venues.
KraftyLab is a team events company: live-hosted virtual games and workshops, kit workshops with the supplies shipped to every guest, in-person events at your office, and corporate gifts, all booked from one place with live prices. Our virtual escape rooms are built for a work team on a video call, so the whole group plays one story together wherever people sit.
Both are live, both run about an hour. The difference is who plays and how.
In The Escape Game’s Remote Adventures, your group joins a Zoom call with a host and a Game Guide who stands inside one of its real rooms with a camera. You tell the guide where to look and what to open, and track clues on an online dashboard. Three rooms are offered, each for up to 10 players, with game times listed in US Central time.
Each of ours is one game for the whole group. The host tells the story on the main call, sends people into breakout teams and brings everyone back for the final escape, so 25 or 250 coworkers share the same hour. Comparing more online rooms? See our list of the best virtual escape rooms for teams.
Both companies publish their prices, so the math is easy to check.
Every KraftyLab activity page shows the total for your headcount before you book, and a 50% deposit holds the date.
The Escape Game’s team building happens at its venues: you bring the group to one of its locations and its event coordinators plan the visit. Its FAQ notes that other players may join a game when not every spot is booked, that food and drinks stay out of the rooms, and that alcohol is not allowed on its premises.
KraftyLab comes to you. A live host runs Feud Night, team trivia and Music Bingo at your office in cities such as New York, Chicago, Austin and Seattle, with setup and cleanup included. Feud Night starts at $1,750. For a hybrid team, a virtual host can lead the office from the big screen while remote colleagues join the same game. See every in-person event.
