All-hands meeting activities, hosted live
The all-hands activity that works best is a 10 to 20 minute hosted round inside the meeting: a live poll game or a trivia round about your company, played from every seat as the opener or closer. After a quarterly all-hands, add a full hosted game as an optional social hour.

Three ways to add an activity to an all-hands
Inside the meeting it has to be short. After the meeting it can be a full hour.
An opener
10 to 20 minutes
The first item, while people are still joining and before the first slide.
A short live poll round or a trivia round about the company, played from every seat.
A closer
10 to 20 minutes
After Q&A, so the meeting ends on a laugh instead of a hard question.
A short game show segment with the winners named before everyone drops off.
A social hour after
About 60 minutes
Straight after a quarterly all-hands, on the same link or a new one.
A full hosted game or show, optional to attend, with teams mixed across departments.
Where a hosted opener sits in a 60-minute all-hands
The host takes the first 15 minutes and hands back to your first speaker.

A short round, not a full game
Activity pages list full sessions of 45 to 60 minutes, and most can be shortened. Ask for a short round in your quote and your event manager confirms the length and price with the host.

A show for the whole audience
One flat price for the session, however many people join. Volunteers come on camera.
Large audiences: 100 to 1,000 people
The bigger the meeting, the simpler the format.
- Over 100 people, a round played from every seat or a show beats breakout teams for a short slot.
- Breakout team games need breakout rooms and chat. If you can't make the host a co-host, your producer opens the rooms.
- Book with your best estimate. Mandatory meetings draw more than optional ones, and the price follows the final count.
- If far more people join than you estimated, a follow-up invoice covers the difference.
Bigger than one game
For an all-company event where up to 1,000 people each pick an activity, see multi-event programs. For a multi-session event with keynotes, see virtual conference entertainment.
Running it inside your own Zoom or Teams meeting
The host joins the meeting you already scheduled. Your producer stays in charge of the room.
- Zoom is the default: you get a private Zoom link and the host runs it.
- On your own link (Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex), send it to your event manager after booking.
- The host shares their screen, so give them presenter or co-host rights.
- Someone on your side lets the host in a few minutes early.
- If attendees can't use cameras or breakout rooms in your setup, pick a round played from every seat.
- Music Bingo runs on Zoom only. A short tech check on your link can be scheduled before the day.
Part of the company in the office
- Put the host on the big screen the office can see and hear.
- Give the host a camera and microphone on the room, so they can see and hear it too.
- Test the setup on the meeting link before the day.
A custom company trivia round
Questions about your own company, ready in about four weeks.
- New questions about your company, your goals or this quarter.
- Custom backgrounds in your colors.
- Some requests cost extra, depending on scope. Your quote says what.
- 4 weeks outBook and send the brief: the meeting, the audience and the tone.
- 3 weeks outSend 15 to 20 facts: founding stories, launches, office quirks, this quarter's wins.
- 2 weeks outReview the questions. Cut anything that singles out one person or one team.
- 1 week outConfirm the platform, the headcount estimate and who lets the host in.
- The dayThe round runs as the opener, and the answers become the first slide of the update.

Activity pages list full sessions of 45 to 60 minutes, and most can be shortened. Ask for a short round in your quote and your event manager confirms the length and price with the host.
Can the activity run inside our own Zoom or Teams meeting?
