Team building for field teams
The best team building for field teams comes to them: a hosted video game before the first appointment or after the last call, joined from a phone or tablet; a kit workshop shipped to each home; and a live host at the regional or national meeting when everyone is finally in one room.

Team building activities for field employees, on any screen
Reps, technicians, inspectors and district managers rarely share an office. These hosted games run on a video call, about an hour each, with a live host and nothing to prepare.

When field people can actually join
A 2 pm all-hands works for the office and nobody on the road. These four slots fit a day that starts and ends in a vehicle.
Early
Before the first appointment
An hour at 7 or 7:30 am local time, from home, before the van or the car leaves. Ask for an early slot in your quote.Evening
After the last call
5:30 or 6 pm local time, once routes are done. Pair it with a kit so it feels like an evening, not another meeting.By region
One session per time zone
A national call at 6 pm Eastern lands at 3 pm Pacific, mid-route for the West. Book the West its own session. In person
When the region already meets
A quarterly district or regional meeting is the one time field people share a room. Add a host for the last hour.
Field teams are not remote teams: a remote employee sits at a home desk with a laptop all day. If your people are, see remote team building. Running inside sales? The quota calendar is on team building for sales teams.
Phones and tablets: making a video event work in the field
Many field employees work from a phone or tablet, not a laptop. Five rules that keep a phone-first event fun.
- Pick a format a small screen can carry. Quiz Showdown and Music Bingo already use a phone to play (scan a QR code or open a browser). Save puzzle-heavy escape rooms for a laptop.
- Park first. Nobody joins from a moving vehicle. Schedule the event outside drive time so nobody is tempted.
- Bring earbuds. Music Bingo asks for headphones or earbuds, and they help on any call from a truck cab or a hotel lobby.
- Join from Wi-Fi when you can. Home, a hotel or a branch office beats a weak signal at a job site.
- Use the app already on company phones. Zoom by default; Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request. Music Bingo is Zoom only.
A kit at every home, not every office
Each person enters their own address, so the kit finds them wherever their territory is. Continental US shipping is included; Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada and international addresses cost extra per kit.

Quarterly regional meetups, in person
The district or regional meeting is the one time field people share a room. Add a host for the last hour so it ends with people talking, not driving home early.

Open the national sales meeting with a short game

The room is already talking. Numbers, awards and training follow, and the tables stay mixed for the breakouts.
District, region, national: what each costs
Field teams come in three sizes. Plan the event to the shape, then check the price for that headcount.
8 to 15 people
A district
One manager and the reps or techs who report to them. A video game each quarter, early morning or evening.30 to 60 people
A region
Several districts. A kit night once a year, and a host at the regional meeting when it lands in one of our cities.100 people and up
The national field force
Once a year, at the national meeting. Several activities at once work better than one huge room: see multi-event programs.

Field team building questions
What is good team building for field teams?
Events that come to the people instead of asking them to come in: a hosted video game early in the morning or after the last call, a kit workshop shipped to each home, and a host at the regional or national meeting when the team is already together.
Can field employees join from a phone or tablet?
Yes. Pick a format that works on a small screen: Quiz Showdown and Music Bingo already use a phone to play. Join parked or at home, ideally on Wi-Fi, with earbuds. Puzzle-heavy escape rooms are better on a laptop.
How do kits reach technicians and reps who are never in the office?
Each person enters their own home address. Continental US shipping is included; Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada and international addresses cost extra per kit. Book about 3 weeks ahead for US addresses and about 5 weeks with anyone in Canada or abroad.
How much does team building for field teams cost?
It depends on the format and headcount. Quiz Showdown! is $39 a person for a group of 25 ($975 package). Coffee Tasting is $89 a person plus a $379 base fee. Feud Night is $35 a person for a group of 50 ($1,750 package). You see the full price for your group before you book, and a 50% deposit holds the date.
When should we book a December event for the field team?
For an evening event on December 8, 2026, book a hosted game by November 24 and a kit workshop by November 17, or by November 3 if anyone lives outside the US. For December 15: December 1, November 24 and November 10.
Can you run a game at our regional or national meeting?
Yes. In 17 US cities hosts bring games like Feud Night and live trivia to your meeting, and painting workshops run in 30 cities: see in-person team events. Outside those cities, run a hosted game on the screen in the room.
How is this different from remote team building?
A remote team works from a home desk on a laptop, all day. A field team is on the road: phones and tablets, early starts, late finishes and a few in-person meetings a year. The formats and the time slots change because of that.
