These Christmas Jeopardy questions come ready to play: 3 free Jeopardy-style boards with 93 clues and answers, each one checked. Office Party is easy and secular, Christmas Classics covers movies, songs and food, and Holiday Season is the hard one, with Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year in the mix.

Coworkers in holiday sweaters laugh on sofas as a colleague points to a grid of colored tiles on a wall screen.

How to host Christmas Jeopardy in 30 minutes

One host, two or more teams and a shared screen. A board of 30 clues takes about 25 minutes, and the final round about 5.

  1. Pick a board. Office Party suits any mixed group. Christmas Classics is for movie and music fans. Holiday Season is the hardest and covers Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year too.
  2. Make 2 to 6 teams. Three to six people each. Type the team names into the scoreboard under the board.
  3. Put the board on a big screen. Open this page on the host's laptop and press Full screen. On Zoom or Teams, share the browser tab.
  4. Teams pick, the host reads. The picking team calls a category and a value. Tap the tile, read the clue aloud, then show the response and tap plus or minus for each team.
  5. Watch for the Daily Double. One tile per board hides it. The team that finds it bets up to its score, or up to 500 if it has less, and answers alone.
  6. Finish with the Final. When the board is clear or 25 minutes are up, press Final round. Teams write a secret wager, hear the clue, and get 30 seconds to answer.

On Zoom, Teams or a hybrid call

  • Buzz in the chat: each team types its name, and the first name to appear answers.
  • Give each team a private chat, or breakout rooms between rounds for groups over 20.
  • Hybrid: put the board on the meeting room TV and share the same tab to the call.
  • Split across time zones? Play the same board twice and compare the two winners.
Two teams of coworkers at red and green tables raise their hands to answer first under paper decorations.

All 93 Christmas Jeopardy questions and answers

Every holiday Jeopardy question and answer on the three boards, by category. The asterisk marks the Daily Double. Playing on paper or slides? Print the host sheet: it has all 3 boards and the 3 spare Finals.

Keep a work Christmas Jeopardy game inclusive

A game at work should be fun for the whole room, not only the people who grew up with the same holiday.

  • Start with the Office Party board: it has no religious-only clues and nothing about drinking.
  • Play in teams, never solo, so nobody gets put on the spot.
  • Let people sit out the buzzing and still help their team answer.
  • Mix in one company category of your own, but keep it learnable for new hires.

More ideas for a mixed group are in our inclusive holiday party ideas. Want a round of survey-style guessing next? Try the Christmas Family Feud-style board, or pick from the holiday party games for work.

Run it with a host

Rather not run the game yourself? Our hosts run an hour of holiday game show rounds on your usual video call, with Zoom by default and Teams, Meet or Webex on request. Christmas Trivia Party has rounds on holiday movies, music and traditions. Festive Family Feud is a Family Feud-style show that needs no trivia knowledge. Winter Showdown! is a fast five-round quiz, and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader: Winter Edition! plays school subjects voted on by the whole group.

Book about 2 weeks ahead, and earlier for December, because December dates fill first. Teams split across time zones can book a hosted game as two sessions. For a hybrid party, run an in-person game at the office plus a virtual session for remote staff, or one virtual holiday party for everyone. Our in-person games run at your office in 17 US cities: see the New York City holiday party page or the full city list.

Mix easy and hard: holiday movies, song titles, Christmas food, decorations, gift swaps and a wordplay round like Rhyme Time. For a work group, add winter science, traditions around the world, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and New Year's Eve. The three boards on this page use 18 categories you can play as is.

How do you play Christmas Jeopardy at an office party?
