Team building for franchises
Team building for franchises serves two groups: the franchisor's support staff, and the franchise owners and managers spread across many locations. Put owners from every market on one hosted video call or bring a host to the convention, and keep location crews to an hour before opening, because they work shifts.

Franchise team building has two buyers
The franchisor's support center and the owners it serves need different events. Plan them separately, even when one team books both.
Franchisor
The support center team
Training, operations, marketing, development and the franchise business consultants who visit owners. Office hours, so a lunch session works. Consultants on the road join from wherever they are; see field teams.Franchisees
Owners and their managers
Independent business owners running the same model in different towns. They meet at owner meetings, regional groups and the convention, and mostly see each other on screen.
Franchisee events through the year
Owners spend most of the year in their own locations. Four moments when they come together, and what fits each.
8 to 20 people
A new-franchisee class
A cohort going through training together. A low-pressure game in week one helps them learn names before they open.10 to 40 people
Regional owner meetings
Owners from one region on a call. Mixed teams in a trivia game put owners from different markets side by side.8 to 15 people
The owner advisory group
A small elected group of owners who meet with the franchisor a few times a year. A workshop or a kit fits the evening before.100 people and up
The annual convention
A host at the venue for the opening night, or a hosted game for owners who can't travel. Many activities at once for the whole system.
The whole system at once? We have run a single 60-minute event for 1,000 registered employees across four parallel activity tracks.
See multi-event programsLocation crews work shifts
Store and restaurant crews can't all leave the floor at once. Four ways to include them.
The hour before opening
Crews already come in early to prep. A 60 minute hosted game ends before the doors open. One session per shift
Morning and evening crews rarely overlap. Two sessions reach both, and each is its own booking.A kit at home on a day off
Each person gets a box at their door and joins a live class from home, so nobody leaves the floor.Managers first, crews after
Start with each location's general manager on one system call, then let each owner book for their own crew.
Running a restaurant or hotel brand? See hospitality team building. A store brand? See retail team building. Planning for one location as its owner? See small business team building.
When to book a franchise owner event

Kits are a base fee plus a price per kit, with continental US shipping included; Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada and international addresses cost extra. At the convention, a host runs Feud Night for $1,750 for up to 50 guests in 17 US cities. Get a free quote for your owner count.
Franchise team building questions
What is good team building for a franchise?
For owners, a hosted game on one video call that puts owners from different markets on the same team, or a host at the convention. For the support center, a lunch session like any office team. For location crews, an hour before opening or a kit made at home on a day off.
How do we bring franchise owners from many locations together?
On one video call. Zoom is the default, and Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or Webex work on request. The host splits owners into mixed teams, so people who only know each other's sales numbers get to talk.
What does franchise team building cost?
Most hosted games are one package for up to 25 guests, then grow in blocks: Trivia with a Twist is $1,195 for a 40-owner region. Kit workshops are a base fee plus a price per kit, with continental US shipping included.
Can you run an activity at our franchise convention?
In 17 US cities a host can run Feud Night, Music Bingo or live trivia at your venue. Feud Night is $1,750 for up to 50 guests. For a whole system at once, we plan several activities as a multi-event program.
Can every location's crew join?
Each event is booked for one group at one time, and crews work shifts, so all crews means several sessions. Most systems start with owners and general managers, then let each owner book for their own crew.
Who pays, the franchisor or the franchisee?
Either. The franchisor can book a system event and pay one invoice, or each owner can book and pay for their own team. Tell us which when you ask for a quote.
