A team at a wooden table ticks boxes on paper answer sheets while two of them compare sheets and smile.

These 60 quiz questions with multiple correct answers are select-all (or multiple answer) questions: each has five or six options, and two, three or four of them are right. They come in six rounds of ten (geography, science, food, words, history, and work and tech). Each answer key lists every correct option, plus one line on why the odd ones are out. Below the rounds: how to score them and how to set them up in Google Forms, Kahoot, Slido and Mentimeter.

How to score quiz questions with multiple correct answers

Pick one model before you start and say it out loud. The checker above shows both.

  • All-or-nothing: 1 point for an exact match, 0 for anything else. Fast to mark, and it's how Slido grades.
  • Per-option: 1 point per correct option ticked, minus 1 per wrong tick, never below 0. Fairer, and ticking everything earns nothing.

For a live team game, use all-or-nothing. Teams can mark it in seconds and nobody argues about half points. Switch to per-option for training quizzes, where you want to see what people half know.

How to set up a multiple answer quiz in Google Forms, Kahoot, Slido and Mentimeter

As each tool's help pages describe it in October 2026. Tools change, so check before a big event.

  • Google Forms: Turn the form into a quiz, use a Checkboxes question and tick every correct answer in the answer key. You can give partial points by hand when you review responses. Google Docs Editors Help
  • Kahoot: The multi-select question type, on select paid plans, takes more than one correct answer. Players score for each correct answer they pick, but nothing if they also pick a wrong one. Kahoot blog
  • Slido: A quiz question can have several correct options. Players have to pick all of them to get the points; there is no partial credit. Slido help
  • Mentimeter: A Select Answer quiz question can mark more than one option correct, but each player picks only one. Use the workaround below for true select-all. Mentimeter help

If your tool takes only one answer

Turn the correct set into one option, like “Argentina, Peru and Uruguay”, and build the wrong options from other mixes of the same names. Or ask each option as its own true or false question. Comparing tools? See our Kahoot alternatives.

Want someone to run the quiz for your team?

A live host brings the questions, the screen and the scoring, so you get to play too. Quiz Showdown! races teams against the clock and each other, and in Poll Points! players guess how the crowd will answer poll questions. Both run an hour on Zoom (Teams, Google Meet or Webex on request); book about 2 weeks ahead. See every virtual trivia game, or get a free quote.

Run training sessions too? KraftyLab Intelligence sends a short pulse survey after every event, with 20 ready-made templates and AI summaries of the answers. It also works on its own, for any survey you send by email. For question ideas, see our multiple choice survey questions.

Multiple answer questions FAQ

What is a multiple answer question?

A quiz question where more than one option is correct and players tick every one that applies. It's also called a select-all or multiple select question. Example: which of these countries border Brazil? Chile, Argentina, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay. Argentina, Peru and Uruguay are right.

How do you score questions with more than one correct answer?

Two ways. All-or-nothing gives 1 point only for an exact match. Per-option gives 1 point for each correct option ticked and takes 1 away for each wrong tick, never going below 0. Use all-or-nothing for live team games, since it's quick to mark, and per-option when you want to see partial knowledge.

Can a multiple choice question have two correct answers?

Yes, as long as you tell players to select all that apply and score it that way. If players think only one answer is right, they'll stop after the first one, so say it in the question or the round's title.

How do I make a quiz with multiple correct answers in Google Forms?

In Settings, make the form a quiz. Add a Checkboxes question, open Answer key and tick every correct option, then set the points. To give partial credit, change a score by hand when you review responses.

Does Kahoot or Slido allow multiple correct answers?

Both do, as of October 2026. Kahoot's multi-select question type is on select paid plans, and a wrong pick cancels the points. Slido lets a quiz question have several correct options, and players must pick all of them to score. For other tools, see our Kahoot alternatives.

What's the difference between multiple choice and multiple select?

Multiple choice has one right answer and players pick one option. Multiple select has two or more right answers and players tick every one that applies. For classic one-answer questions with a laugh in the options, see our funny multiple choice questions.

How many options should a select-all question have?

Five or six, with two to four correct. Fewer options make it easy to guess, and more make it slow to read out. Vary how many are correct from question to question so players can't find a pattern.
