2018 Summer Camp

JUNE 25 - AUGUST 17

Science • ENGINEERING • Crafting • Fun!

ABOUT

Our goal is to deliver educational experiences that allow kids to explore science, technology, engineering, and art through hands-on crafting. We understand that a fundamental part of a child's development is creating self awareness. Understanding who you are and what you are good at helps pave the path towards academic success and a meaningful contribution to society. At the KraftyLab Summer Camp, we are committing ourselves to helping create meaningful learning experiences that connect what we do with technology to the impact it has on humanity. We believe that our role is to not only learn about the mechanics of how things work but also understand the 'why' of what we are doing. We want our campers to have a fun and meaningful summer!

EXPLORATION

We want our campers to explore a variety of technology and science related topics in a way that is fun and productive. We value the importance of creating a save and encouraging space to learn by exploring new ideas without the fear of being wrong.

CONNECTION

Our goal is to encourage new connections both academically and socially. We are creating a platform for campers to connect big ideas. We also hope to establish an environment that creates long lasting friendships of like minded young kids.

DEVELOPMENT

We create an environment that encourages product creation and concept development. Our culture at KraftyLab is built around testing new products and product development. We encourage entrepreneurship and we want our campers to get a taste of what it's like to experience the entrepreneurial process.

OUR PROGRAM

Our STEM classes will be led by trained technology educators and teachers. Our Summer Camp covers fundamentals of engineering and tech design. The classes will be designed in a way for campers to learn by doing and having fun as that is the key to engaged learning experiences. The class will include engineering challenges such as weight bearing bridge and tall tower building challenges.
